First time at Cavender's. Wow! What a selection! Even tons of boots for kids! My husband has a hard time finding pants that fit and was shocked by how many pants to choose from. We're traveling through from out of town and might make another stop in the morning before we hit the road.
False advertising .Every time I come to the store and shop the sale rack they do a "bait and switch". When I go to check out the item "wasn't supposed to be on that sale rack." I have taken up multiple sizes of the SAME shirt that is "on sale" and yet somehow they are ALL on the"wrong" rack. Just happened to me again this morning .All 3 shirts I went to purchase were supposedly on the wrong rack .I realize that items can get moved but they should have some way to distinguish sale items from "misplaced" items . Went in store, not many customers. Helped my self to hats. No asked if i needed help, i thought maybe they are to busy. But didnt give it much thought. Went to pay and the lady at register didnt have a good attitude. Payed for the Hat. She didnt know the right answer to a shipping question but still answered very sure about not being able to ship the item. Then a gentleman helped out answering very politely and answering correctly. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would !! Will not be stopping at this location ever again. Take your money to BOOT BARN they actually care about you and help you find just what you need. Been shopping at the Waco store for decades. This new location is so disappointing. Great selection. Not under staffed but nobody cares staffed. Unless you are in a boot isle of course. Then you are accosted by employees wanting to sell you boots. Looking for jeans that would actually fit my daughter. After 30 minutes, trying on seven different pairs, Finally saw someone at counter checking out a customer, I waited, then asked if they could send a staff member to help guide us. Special ordered a pair of boots and was charged 8.99 delivery to home. They ended up at the store so we picked them up. While at the register noticed a sign that delivery was FREE. Manager said he would reverse the charge. When I went to pick them up they were on sale. I had to ask to get the sale price. Like it was a special case. Manager should have offered up front for my inconvenience. I mentioned that maybe all the cashiers didn't know about free shipping but he did nothing. I felt cheated.
