Rude/ no service/ bad music/ the women are rude and act like they are too good to help anyone that they are t interested in. They are ugly and act like royalty. Don't go here lol the boots are the same as Boot Barn and they are wayyyy nicer people!! I love them and they are very helpful and have better prices too
I was in the store, doing my shopping and was never once approached by any workers asking if I needed assistance. I then proceeded to checkout where I was not greeted by either of the three girls standing behind the counter unoccupied and proceeded to pay in silence. I then went to ask a question where both employees checking me out just blatantly stared at me without answering.
Least favorite of the many Cavendar's I have been in. No hello, no service, and the store looked pretty neglected. Lots of staff just standing in corners chatting. Not a great look.
I went in to buy a pair of boots, a shirt, some jeans, and a belt for my daughter today and was astonished by how we were treated by one of the associates. First, we were browsing the boots and he walked in front of us with other customers in tow, totally blocking our view as if we were not even there, and did not bother to say excuse me. My daughter and I moved so we could continue to see around him and the other people and he walked down to where we were and stepped on my 8 year old daughter's toe. As soon as you walk in they just look at you and don't say anything and we didn't get any help while we were there.
Store was decently organized and clean so I could fine whatever I needed by myself, which is what you have to do. I've been to this store 6 times in the 8 months I've live in College Station and never once was I greeted or assisted. The last time I went in was this evening and as usual nobody said one word to me. Horrible customer service compared to every other Cavender's I've been to. They just look at you and maybe just maybe they'll ask if you need help as they're walking by. Everyone looked miserable, except for Matt, (I think that's his name) who showed us where the jeans were, but then we never received any help other than asking who talked to us when we picked our boots. The new bigger is store is definitely easier to move around in and has a much bigger selection. The staff is very fake friendly, you can tell they work on commission and if you aren't dressed like Luke Bryan or a buckle bunny they are going to speak to you with a degree of condescension. You would think actual ranchers would be their bread and butter but I guess wannabe college cowboys are. Cavender's has THE WORST customer service of any store!! The generally greet people when you come in but the few times I've been into the College Station store, they never have. They also never help me or ask to help me. There are plenty of people working but I'll never get customer service....neither will anyone who is a minority!!
