Went in about 30 mins before closing time. I knew exactly what boots i went in for. But seeing they had much a bigger and better selection then gulfgate, I was torn between two pairs of boots. The young sales lady name Andy, I am hoping i remember her name correctly. Was so nice and very great help picking out the right boots for me!

My husband's work requires him to wear FRC. I had heard about the Ariat FRC line and that Cavender's Boots carries them. It seemed common sense that Cavender's would have western wear; I mean, that's what they are known for but FRC's?! Knowing how hard it was to find comfortable work clothes for my husband, I brought him in. OMG, the selection of FRC and work clothes was crazy. I've had really great experience with their customer service. I bought my first cowboy boots here, and about three weeks later the heel started to split from the boot and make a squeaking noise when I walk. This wasn't Cavender's fault, they could have pointed me to the nearest cobbler and said good luck but the guy I bought the boots from remembered me from 3 weeks earlier and he swapped them out on the spot. I was wanting some new pair of cowboy boot for years. I have been searching all over the greater Portland, OR area but, without any luck. I then decided to wait until I was on Christmas break to look for some boot in my home town of Houston, TX. I don't know much about cowboy boots but I do know about customer service. Everyone at this location was so friendly and helpful. Dawn was AMAZING! I watched her attend to about five or six guests all at the same time. None of us felt slighted. I don't know why initially she was the only one on the floor but she handled herself well. She told us how to fit the boots and the differences between them. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Completely different than my experience at Boot City

Hayaa! What can I say...Boots, Cowboy Boots that is... I did a lot of research and I do mean lots - looked from Nov 07 to Mar 08, at stores in FL, Las Vegas, So. Cal, NC, and a few website "Cavender's had the best pricing, selection and service. "Giovanni" was a big help with understanding the different brands, styles, and skins. I started out with a price limit of $200 and spent over $350, a pair of Black Cherry Ostrich by Lucchese -- great fit and very comfortable...Yeehaa
