The light/water show at night is a must. Don't forget to look at the plaques around the fountain and flags. Sounds crazy but we encountered a homeless gentleman and he was a wealth of information. We would missed a lot if not for him You really need to experience it both at night and during the day. We stayed at the AC Marriott, everything is in a short walk and the hotel is fabulous
Fun, clean and safe. It's hard to find street parking but on weekend you might get lucky. I recommend it for a stroll in the park, hanging oit with friend's and family.

It's a must go to for me and my family every time we are in Atlanta. The people are awesome. We started playing frisbee and a gentleman joined in and we kept the game going as if he was part of our family. Had a great day and met a new friend.
The park is beautiful right smack in the middle of downtown Atlanta. It is a must visit place for visitors and tourists. A couple of things that I would suggest for improvement is to renovate the restrooms and keep it open at a much later time. Also, there are many homeless people that seem harmless, but do approach you to ask for change. Every big city has this issue though, so not a real problem, just be aware of surroundings.
