It's a must go to for me and my family every time we are in Atlanta. The people are awesome. We started playing frisbee and a gentleman joined in and we kept the game going as if he was part of our family. Had a great day and met a new friend.
The park is beautiful right smack in the middle of downtown Atlanta. It is a must visit place for visitors and tourists. A couple of things that I would suggest for improvement is to renovate the restrooms and keep it open at a much later time. Also, there are many homeless people that seem harmless, but do approach you to ask for change. Every big city has this issue though, so not a real problem, just be aware of surroundings. beautiful fountains. Olympic reminders all around. nice walkways. children's play areas. many attractions all around- College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola Museum, Children's Museum, Waffle House, CNN center and others nearby. the streetcar stops here so we rode it to the Center for Non-Violent Social Change.
