Dr. Langer demonstrated extremely poor bedside manner. Immediately after my husband’s colonoscopy, while he was still groggy from anesthesia, Dr. Langer told him he had colon cancer. Further testing later confirmed there were no cancerous cells, yet Dr. Langer continued to insist it was cancer. He wanted to be right more than he cared about accuracy or patient well-being.In the end, it turned out to be a large mass that was successfully removed during an 8-hour surgery by a much more capable and compassionate surgeon. It was... read more

I was injured during my first colonoscopy with this doctor. I've had 3 other colonoscopies from 2 providers in cities where I used to live) and never have I had any issues. The doctors own the gi center, and yet run it like a chaotic assembly line. I ended up with a precancerous growth removal at this colonoscopy. I had to go online to even find this out because NO ONE followed up in any way. I also had an injury caused by the procedure that caused me excruciating pain for months. When I reported this, I was told by an MA (b... read more

Not interested in her specialty, doesn’t care about her patients’ health, does not keep up with latest or best treatments or medicines. Doesn’t check in with patients, doesn’t inquire about how they manage their own health care needs, prescribes detrimental meds to keep her practice assembly line style.

My husband had an upper GI and I was told I'd see him in a half hour to an hour and it became 2 with no explanation. He didn't even come out to talk to the family or at least have his PA. Then he didn't even make rounds in the next 2 days before he was dismissed. We were told to follow up in the next 2 weeks but can't get an appt for a month. A family does have a right to expect some have to have to get some questions answered. He does not care!!!

I am always cautious to leave a review, knowing that I would want someone to do the same for me in my profession... Unfortunately my experience with Dr North has been negative two times now and I am moving on elsewhere. In my first interaction, she came off as judgemental and was short, rude, and insensitive. I was shocked and gave her the benefit of the doubt.... we all have bad days. She had her bad day as I was getting a procedure done. I went home devastated by her treatment. Here we are again, and I am still having issu... read more

He perforated my small bowel and common bile duct during an ERCP. Post-procedure he ignored my complaints of pain and sent me home. I ended up with severe sepsis and was hospitalized for a total of 5 months with three admissions to the ICU. I now have incomplete spastic paraparesis/plegia with burning neuropathic pain, spastic bladder, impaired bowel motility, and rectal sphincter incompetence from T9 down from neurotoxicity caused by either the medication used to treat my sepsis or the long-standing sepsis itself. I also ha... read more

I wanted to respond to the disrespectful, threatening letter against my responsibility to pay my bill. It is at this point in time I hope the public will come to see the real part of our community your business is. Records and documentation supports I paid $150.00 ever month to pay this off. I have done this the entire time through this pandemic at a time when many can’t pay anything. Note my last payment was made 11/9/20. I don’t know why but I never received your last bill in the mail but instead of call or send another bi... read more

Dr. Caufield is not a Doctor I ever wish to see again. I feel like I was an experiment to him. Three EGDs in 3 months and the last one was done so far that a blood vessel was “nicked” and I bled out internally. That is after I called his office numerous times and was told everything looked fine. It wasn’t until I was taken to the ER and admitted they found the bleed which ended me up in ICU and to be intubated. I’ve had continued issues since this nightmare and he told me none of which are related to him “nicking” a blood ve... read more

I went to him with a recurrent nausea/vomiting/abdominal pain. He dismissed me by saying, "Its anxiety." He even wrote it in my EGD notes. Well come to find out I have something called angioedema which is related to a Mast Cell disorder. Mine manifested in my duoidium which is a very WELL known symptom of the disorder, something a GI doctor should know about. But he was so quick to discount me off as some hysterical woman he never even attempted to see if it was something more serious ! Thank Goodness I had the presenance of... read more
