Dr. Caufield is not a Doctor I ever wish to see again. I feel like I was an experiment to him. Three EGDs in 3 months and the last one was done so far that a blood vessel was “nicked” and I bled out internally. That is after I called his office numerous times and was told everything looked fine. It wasn’t until I was taken to the ER and admitted they found the bleed which ended me up in ICU and to be intubated. I went to him with a recurrent nausea/vomiting/abdominal pain. He dismissed me by saying, "Its anxiety." He even wrote it in my EGD notes. Well come to find out I have something called angioedema which is related to a Mast Cell disorder. Mine manifested in my duoidium which is a very WELL known symptom of the disorder, something a GI doctor should know about. Money hungry, no compassion. Doesn't understand prevention. Doesn't want to speak to patients. My husband is in pain and he just took our money. Horrible doctor. I beg others not to fall into his money trap - he even lied to us about referrals and after care. Just mean.
Bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. Dismissive of my health history and declared a diagnosis without examining me or getting a full history.
Short, rude, insensitive. Wost doctor experience ever. She was interruptive and belittling during my appointment which lasted 5 minutes. She seems to hate jer job and those that work so hard to assist her.
A fish has more feeling!
After six months of constant uncontrollable diarrhea, other doctors and a previous colonoscopy during which no tissue samples were taken, Dr. Dunphy provided her own colonoscopy, took tissue samples, and diagnosed me with lymphocyptic colitis -- something no other doctor I have ever seen had even heard of. She changed my life!
totally lacking in compassion
If I could give a zero I would. Dr. North's professional behavior is impatient without compassion for people. Dr. North was unwilling to listen to full medical history background before making her own assumptions to medical diagnosis even before patient exam. This was the WORST bedside manner behavior I have yet to experience in a doctor and makes me question her mental health ability in how she conducts her behavior towards people. She needs to be reported to Board of Directors and investigated
