Chadwell was the vet we used for my English Bulldog, She hated the Vet and they always made it so easy and comfortable for her. They recently helped us in making the hard decision to put down my bulldog and again the staff at chadwell was amazing during a hard time, you could tell they was All upset and they even sat down on the floor when it was that time, then the sympathy card signed by the staff and paw print mold and her name written in the mold they sent a few days later was so touching. So happy that we ended up finding this place. They helped my ferrets every emergency visits, as well as accommodated our drive from Dover. I would highly recommend this vet for ferret owners!
I had an amazing experience at Chadwell Animal Hospital and will definitely be returning! I have two ferrets and it’s hard finding a good exotic vet and ones that knowledgeable on ferrets. The previous vet I took them too charged me a crazy amount of money. She also was not aware of any of the diseases they are prone to getting and was not able to answer many questions at all. Excellent veterinary care for a wide range of species. Dr. Keith Gold has a wide and deep breath of knowledge on the common and uncommon. I try to keep my ferrets under his care always, though he has other knowledgeable exotic vets in his practice. I don't think there is an animal species that could not find knowledgeable care within the Chadwell care team. We have been coming to Chadwell for MANY years (about 20). We can’t give better praise to Dr. Gold! He has been our savior. We travel to Chadwell from next to BWI - it should speak volumes to say that we brave the tunnel and 95 traffic to bring our pets to him. I seriously do not know what we would do without him and the wonderful staff here! ❤️
So grateful for Dr. Gold and his wonderful team who squeezed my very sick chicken in for an emergency appointment. Not only did they squeeze her in but Dr. Gold and his team took the time to provide her the best care possible, explain all our options, the risk, costs, and treatment plan. He also ensured I was trained properly on tubing my chicken to give her meds. I was expecting an astronomical bill but was shocked at how reasonable the cost for her care.
