We’ve been dining at Chama for almost a Decade, and it was the first time one of the captains was rude to us. We were getting the same cuts for 20 minutes, and when we asked for more variety for the second time, for what he replied “when you know what you want, let me know”. Leaving aside this, it’s the best steakhouse in San Antonio and we will come back definitely.

Great service but pricey. They could use more variety in the meats.

Amazing like always there is no other place. We would go to celebrate anything. Yesterday was even more spectacular. The food was amazing. It always is amazing but for some reason last night, everything taste to die for management was amazing as well. No better place to eat in San Antonio.

The wait staff at Chama Gaucha is top notch and hands down the best service I have EVER come across. The Gauchos have an incredible memory and are so talented, their meats are out of this world and cooked to perfection. Management is always available, ensuring you get everything you need.

Felt obligated to get salad since only way to get a plate. Line was long to get what I wanted from salad bar. Gauchos only came by ever so often and never really got a variety of meat (no lamb for example). Star of meats was definitely Picahna!!
