We were seated in the goldfish bowl area behind the front desk reception area and the large party along the right wall included 3-4 people who were already inebriated and very loud in the space. We were seated well, went to the salad bar, came back and started to eat. I never received the iced tea/sweetener I ordered (I need to see if we were charged for it and request a refund, if needed); we had to request bread and sides vs them just being presented; no sauces were ever offered; had to request new plates for the second pa... read more
We had not been here in over 10 years. We were celebrating a bday. The staff that attended to us were the best. We will be heading back soon.

This is our favorite place to go celebrate special events or for a special meal. We've always had an excellent experience here. Not only is the food outstanding, the service is top-notch! They have the best Old Fashioneds as well. We highly recommend Chama Gaucha San Antonio and look forward to our next visit.

We were welcomed and everything was perfection. The noise level increased a bit but the ambiance made up for it. The service was awesome, every one working there was profesional and attentive but not snobby. We celebrated my husband's 59th birthday and he truly enjoyed it. The fod was great, the salad bar was impressive. Thank you for an amazing dining experience.
