My wife and I toured all of the senior living communities in Bay City. Charter Senior Living stood out in so many ways. Immediately we noticed the extremely friendly atmosphere and staff. It was so clean. Our tour was by far the most thorough and educational. The residents were engaging. The activities were fun to watch. We enjoyed treats baked by the chef. Charter Senior Living of Bay City is fantastic. They gave a great team with the best leadership, the most delicious food, and oh my gosh they have fun. No sitting around bored here. My grandmother loves this place! They’ve given her independence and purpose!

The thing that has been most difficult is my loved ones medicine is not in her possession and she isn't able to manage it herself. She is completely able to do it herself but the facility requires the medication to be administered by nursing staff only. The new Director is great. I know they are implementing some changes. My loved one enjoys this place overall. The staff are generally very responsive with her needs. The staff is really a 10 out of 5, they are great!

I would recommend this community for your loved one . I like the location and the staff are very friendly especially the front desk staff. It was just hard because they were shut down due to covid and we were not able to get in.

Unfortunately our loved one was only there for a couple of days, but the entire staff team just went over and beyond for our family. They would get 10 stars on every rating, everyone was so friendly and helpful. They gave us furniture for the days our loved one was there, and if we could we would live there ourselves.

We chose Charter Senior Living because of its convention location, the appearance of the facility, and the sales pitch from the staff members. The room sizes here are good. The food started out at a 5 when she first got here, but the main chef left and the inexperienced staff were doing the cooking. I spoke to her this week and she said a new cook is starting this week and hoping the quality will improve. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Liked it very much. The one-bedroom unit is large enough to hold almost everything in my mother's two-bedroom apartment. Love the movie theater and the on-site physical therapy! They also have a full-time nurse, an anytime menu, bus trips, activities, and much interaction with the residents.

It is a good value. They are understaffed at the moment. They like most places are having a hard time hiring and keeping staff. The food is good. The room sizes and layout of the community is good. It is why we chose Charter Senior Living. They have a nice outdoor courtyard.
