Overall we like the place. Dad absolutely loves his apartment he just wishes that he had a balcony which they don't have and I understand. Most of the staff has been excellent. They have had a turnover in director of nursing, but the majority of the staff appear to be stable. I have had to follow up on Dad's care I don't think he was getting the level of care that we agreed upon when he went into the facility I feel as though he told them he could do more for himself than he could and they took his word for it instead of wha... read more

We are very happy with Charter for my Mom. There have been a few bumps in the road but we have worked most out.
Facility is great. It was a little slow at first to get things moving as they were changing directors at the same time we came in. They change staff often which is sad in memory care, because they like consistency. Team is helpful and friendly.

The staff are great including execs, people who answer questions, maintenance, etc. It was very clean. Great garage with extra space for storage. They have a size limit for dogs, maybe 15 - 20 Ibs. My dog is service dog so he was allowed though he's larger. Nice patios front & back. Some opportunities for improvement but nothing major...shelves over washer dryer for example.
Beautiful facility. New, clean, up to date. Great staff & amenities. Extra-curricular activities & access for family & friends. Beautiful 1BR apartment for mom & great relationships with other residents.

What we like the most about the community is the size of the room, the fixed costs, the cleanliness and the newness of the facility. Yes, we would definitely recommend Charter Senior Living of Gateway Park to other families.
They were wonderful to work with. The place was absolutely beautiful! I would recommend them to all of my family and friends!
All would be a 5 now. They recently made significant changes to their nursing staff which is a huge plus. It has been a great experience for my mom so far. All are polite, friendly and always looking to assist. [name removed]at the front desk is the sweetest person alive.
Moved our Mother into Independent living apartment and she’s already loving it! So much to do and the chef makes amazing meals. The move was very easy and the staff are very welcoming. Beautiful grounds with pickle ball, walking trails and garden areas with ponds. The wellness center has chair yoga and other activities.
