What we like the most about the community is the size of the room, the fixed costs, the cleanliness and the newness of the facility. Yes, we would definitely recommend Charter Senior Living of Gateway Park to other families.
They were wonderful to work with. The place was absolutely beautiful! I would recommend them to all of my family and friends!
All would be a 5 now. They recently made significant changes to their nursing staff which is a huge plus. It has been a great experience for my mom so far. All are polite, friendly and always looking to assist. [name removed]at the front desk is the sweetest person alive.
Moved our Mother into Independent living apartment and she’s already loving it! So much to do and the chef makes amazing meals. The move was very easy and the staff are very welcoming. Beautiful grounds with pickle ball, walking trails and garden areas with ponds. The wellness center has chair yoga and other activities.
Dining area floor mat cleaned regularly. Meals getting better you will not ever make all residents happy. Activities and director are awesome. Staff all appear to care for residents. Perfume smell on some workers WAY to strong. Room cleaning has improved immensely. Dining area temperature to cool 66 or 68 needs to be 72.
[name removed] put aside the sales hat and took care of a senior in need, first and foremost. Prior to our signing on, she even took him McDonald’s one evening when he was supposed to show up for a “trial dinner” and failed to arrive. Maintenance was super quick to install his new TV and wall mount as well. They have made my Dad feel welcome and after years of decline, he’s now eating regularly, taking his medications and getting involved in social activities! All of this…just in his first week! They have the best activities director I have ever been around and considering I was a director of an Assisted Living in the past - I have seen a lot and she hands down is the best
While the building looks good; the mgmt teams lack accountability. There is always an excuse for lack of care. Common restrooms are rarely clean enough to not need a respirator upon entry. Staff doesn’t tend to needs of residents without attitude. Residents have been eating off paper plates and using plastic utensils since January. Meals are substandard.
