The people who work there treat my dad with care. Also, I love abroad and really appreciate their Facebook updates - I can see the activities and thing a he does. I would definitely recommend to others

Charter is exceptional. It’s a beautiful facility, with interior decorations making you feel like you are in a high end hotel. The staff is amazing..from the CNA’s, Nurses, to management staff. They are seriously, top notch. They took excellent care of my dad before his health deteriorated, requiring him to go to skilled care. Dad wanted to go Back to Charter, I so wish he could have. I highly recommend them.

Overall the place is very clean. My husband's bathroom doesn't get mopped as often as it should. He urinates on the floor a lot. The food is very good. The staff, for the most part, are very nice and respectful to us. There are a few who need more training on how to approach and handle the residents. My husband isn't being checked on through the night like he's supposed to not is he getting the number of showers he's supposed to get. I have been doing some, and that's ok. I believe they are short staffed, especially on weeke... read more

We are all new to this and don't have a lot to compare to. Mom is adjusting after being in the same house since 1956. The staff has been very helpful and supportive. We also know she will be moving in 4 to 6 months to [facility name removed], resources are limited. The facility is in a very good neighborhood , fairly new. The staff was very helpful as we were settling on a place and getting moved in.

Beautifully decorated apartment. Facility is decorated nicely for Holidays. Food is very good. CNAs are very friendly and helpful. There is limited staff because the facility is not full at this time. My father had an issue with his TV/cable hookup that took quite a while to get figured out. Very old cable boxes. All is good now. They have an excellent physical therapist and occupational therapist on staff too. Close to stores and doctors. It was a godsend because my father cannot live alone.

Business response:

Hi Katie, thank you for sharing your positive experience!

The staff were awesome and very helpful. Sometimes it was difficult getting the aides to hand my mom the phone when I called. I felt like it was an “effort” to go down the hall and they said she was sleeping just so I wouldn’t get to talk. I felt bad that more people don’t live there. I think more liveliness and activities would have occurred with more people. Larry, the director, was awesome. Very accommodating. Too bad he isn’t there anymore! :(
