Mom has been there for about a year. This location was going downhill with tremendous staff turnover until about early [date removed] They brought in an expert to re-establish excellent care and we have noticed a dramatic change. New, far more experienced and caring staff have been hired. New Memory Care Director. New Executive Director. It’s night and day. It's hard 2 rate some things given as how my sister can do so little. She can't really participate in activities...altho they have many. I appreciate that when I visit they buzz me in always pretty fast. That's really nice. All the staff speaks to me & answers my questions about hiw she is & what she needs.

Charter Senior Living of Oak Openings is a nice facility, and the staff are nice too. Overall it's a good place, but I wish the food was better - it's inconsistent.

I toured this community and it was nice. Clean community and nice staff. They had a lot of extras that could be great for some, but wasn't the best fit for my loved one.
I struggled with the hardest decision of my life when my wife of 50 years reached end stage dementia and I started exploring possible memory care communities. My sons and I visited many in our area and narrowed it down to 2 facilities. But in the end it was the "feeling" we all got after our visits to Charter Senior Living in Sylvania. This was a lovely community. We didn't need a secure unit for my loved one.
Our family had an in person tour and it was an excellent tour experience
We were overly impressed with this community and what all they do for the residents. This community was fairly new and was very nice and clean, there were no smells and we just had a really good feeling that our loved one was being well cared for just like somewhere we would go ourselves. It was a very difficult time but this community I would go myself so I felt safe sending my loved one there.
