Compulsive Chipotle Disorder
I haven't officially been diagnosed with Compulsive Chipotle Disorder (CCD) but it's what I have.
We were at Best Buy near here shopping for a gift when I heard my stomach grumble at me. That's not good when that happens so we just about dropped everything we were doing and searched for food in the area. With a lot of sit down options in the area including many with outrageous prices, I stumbled across this Chipotle. We were so excited, I almost ran a small child over with my vehicle driving there. It is within walking distance but when I'm hungry, it's only a matter of minutes before I go mad crazy.
So, we arrived and I was so happy. It was a very clean and well presented Chipotle. There were four other parties in the restaurant at the time we arrived so it wasn't too crazy. There was no line, we quickly ordered and quickly ate.
The food was as typical as a Chipotle would be but the beans? Oh my laws, they were so undercooked, we actually had to scrape them off the bowls we ordered. It wasn't even an isolated incident either.. Both the black beans and pinto beans were heavily undercooked to a point where you couldn't even squeeze one in between your fingers.
But, the service was great and very welcoming and I was pressured into getting some chips and guacamole, which is something I try to stay away from because of how much fat is in the guacamole. But, I got them anyways and was so happy I did. It's flippin' delicious.
It was a four star Chipotle visit. Getchyo' darn beans cooked right, man!
