Seriously. He is the best in southwest Idaho and one of the best in the country. I checked him out thoroughly before making an appointment, and I have found the many glowing reviews to be true. St. Alphonsus recruited him and brought him to Idaho because he is an expert when it comes to robotic surgery. I had a rare type-four paraesophageal hernia. He got everything back where it belonged. He is a true professional. At times I felt like he cared more about the outcome than I did. I highly recommend Dr. Reising.
My surgery went absolutely great. Dr. Reising did a terrific job. I had virtually no internal pain. He really knows what he is doing. You will be in good hands with Dr. Reising. I had a umbilical hernia repaired and a hiatal hernia repaired and a toupet performed in the same surgery, all done laparoscopically. Thank you Dr. Reising.
Dr Reising did a PHENOMENAL job with my surgery. I am SO happy with the results! He was SO careful and complete with my care, from his explanations to his implementation. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is kind, courteous and incredibly competent. Everyone in the office; from the front desk to the MA's couldn't have been more caring. And as a retired RN I am very sensitive to treatment and care!
I was having difficulty swallowing. After various tests and X-ray, it was determined I had Achalasia. Through robotic surgery, Dr. Reising was able to do a successful Heller Myotomy procedure. He was very thorough in describing the procedure before the surgery, and after surgery care, and precautions. Surgery was a success, and I am able to eat and swallow without problems.I felt he listened to any concerns, as did his staff.For my condition, Dr. Reising was an excellent surgeon.
I was well instructed by Dr. Reising’s staff about what to expect and how to prepare for surgery. All the staff that helped me the day of surgery were phenomenal and the procedure went so well. Post op was no problem with very little pain. I was up and walking right away. At my follow-up visit after two weeks I was given a clean bill of health with no restrictions. I was amazed at the quick recovery time. I’m a believer in the robotics the Dr. used as well as his skill using them.
In my opinion Dr Reising is an exceptional doctor! He’s very thorough and competent in his field but also an excellent listener. I really felt cared for by Dr. Reising. I highly recommend him to anyone’s care.
He listens to my problems and helps to find solutions. With my health problems I am having he cares that I have a good outcome. He did surgery for my celiac artery compression and a hernia repair. Along with this he had to do an emergency repair on my aorta. He followed up with me after I went home from the hospital. Continued my care and I could not be more pleased. I would recommend him to everyone I know that need surgery.
I was diagnosed with a very large hiatal hernia, in which my stomach had moved into my chest. At 77, Dr. Reising encouraged me to get it corrected, but also said that the outcome would be better if I spent a couple of months on a high protein diet, climbed stairs and in general became more physically fit. From my first visit Dr. Reising and his staff have been so kind and helpful. Dr. Reising literally saved my life and has had to talk me through a lot of fear but he definitely knows what he’s doing! I can’t say enough about this surgeon and his team! I think there is nothing higher to say about Dr. Reising than he has given me hope again and a reason to keep living because I actually have good days and I’m just recovering!
