This place should be avoided. My father has been there for over a week and they have not shaved him and have only changed his clothes occasionally. Their staff is rude and unconcerned with complaints made to the caseworkers. Their physical therapist was rude to my mother when she showed up to watchthem work with my father and the nurses all stand around talking about the families and the patients clustered in the hallways rather than doing their work. The nursing staff are not good, when the nurse comes to say ha ha I forgot to give the patient his insulin! Type 1 diabetes can't go without medication that keeps them alive. As well can't say to a non verbal patient that they are doing a test because you could have prostrate cancer, when the test had nothing to do with cancer. The patient was recovering from a stroke and he had to deal with that for 7 days before he was able to finally get the question asking if he had cancer!!!! My wife was a patient here for three weeks and recieved good care by a very attentive staff, however a Dr. Scroggins really messed ouur aftercare up by not doing a face to face interview with my wife after assuring me he would have a PT do it. The PT had already done hers and informed the DR. he had to do his own but he never did leaving my non ambulatory wife without financial help for a therapy electric wheelchair. They are very expensive. ... read more
