Lance is and has always HAS been empathetic of true diagnosed nerve pain and has always tried to help me with medicines that dulled or eliminated the pain, he is hated by my insurance company which is striving for non narcotic pain relief which does not work in my situation.

Very good doctor, with excellent technical abilities and a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him and he is easy to work with as a patient.

I saw Dallia for the first and only time yesterday! She made me feel like I was there simply to get pain medicine and I was trying to trick her into giving it to me! She called my pharmacy to cancel a script and to change one that was sent in wrong! Even my pharmacist told me he couldn’t believe how she responded to correcting her mistake! When I called her to discuss what was done she acted like I was trying to trick her. I have been taking the same meds for almost a year...They should have that on file! Completely lacking in empathy for the individual situations of her patients. She may be knowledgeable, but every single visit with her felt like an interrogation rather than an appointment with a doctor. When she is done with the appointment, she will get up and walk out of the room to signal that her job is completed, regardless of whether her patient is satisfied. I'm happy to say that I've switched physicians and will not be going back under her care. Ever.

I went to Dr. Furman seeking legitimate, professional pain management for a shattered left wrist which he didn't even ask to look at or about it. He described himself as an interventionist as if I needed intervention. Note I haven't ever in my life sought a pain medication but was treated as if I were an addict trying to scam the doctor. On December 2nd, 2019 I had an appointment for an EMG/Nerve Conduction test ordered by my spine doctor. Yesterday, (January 3, 2020) after numerous call and messages, I finally was able to get the results send to my doctor. It took four weeks for Dr. Mkandawire to sign the test results.

Horrendous. He worries about profiting from back injections before doing imaging to see if anything has changed to the point where they have a remote possibility of being beneficial on his third attempt. He doesn’t care remotely about the patient’s well-being, only what lines his and his boss’ pockets (who btw is head of the Maryland board of Physicians). That’s an obvious conflict of interest as their high incidence of opioid prescriptions would dramatically decrease with the patient’s use of a safer, legal alternative. Sma... read more

I had an appointment today with Dr. Gurman and it was the worst experience I had in my life, completely agree with the previous review of how he treats patients. I will be following up with claim to the medical board about his professionalism and treatment while I was at the KureSmart Pain facility today. I filed a complaint about him in a previous visit and for some reason I was scheduled with him today, it felt more like retaliation for my negative review than him actually being a doctor.
