Dr GEISLER goes above and beyond in his pediatric practice. We feel very lucky to have him as our child's pediatrician. Our daughter had an illness that needed a lot of attention and Dr Geisler was with her every step of the way even checking in with us while on holiday and months later to follow up on her care. This review is long overdue! I am happy to have found Dr. Kao, she is awesome. She is caring and trusting. She listens to my concerns and gives her honest feedback. I never feel like she's rushing out the door to the next pt. The staff is wonderful especially MA Damaris who is patient and gentle with my daughter. They are really flexible with appts and when Dr. Kao is unavailable they are able to fit me in with the NP who has put me at ease when I brought my daughter in for a sick visit. Very satisfied.

Dr Geiseler is, hands down, the kindest and most thorough pediatrician I've met. I've been taking both my boys (ages 6 and 8) to him for a few years now and he always takes his time and listens carefully to my concerns. I recently took my son in when he had a really nasty virus, and Dr Geiseler took his time to make a sure he ruled everything out. Dr. Geisler is a nice doctor. However, don't expect more than weighing, measuring, and vaccinating your baby on any given visit. If you have questions about tongue ties, feeding, sleeping, teething, diaper rash, etc. you will likely hear an anecdotal comment and that's all. It would be nice if he had a network of professional he could recommend like occupational therapists, lactation consultants, or other specialists for parents. We've been coming here since it was Tribeca Pediatrics. Initially, we chose it because it was conveniently located for us but we are so glad we stuck around because we LOVE Dr. Geiseler. He's so attentive. My daughters feel so at ease with him and call him the magical doctor. He always follows up with a personal phone call to see how we're doing after a new treatment or a visit to CHLA. We have been with this office since 2018, when it was Tribeca Pediatrics. We have been with Dr. Kao the entire time and we love her. She is competent, kind, helpful, and present but also low drama - our older daughter had a kind of scary health situation when she was tiny infant, and Dr. Kao handled it with such grace and calm and clarity. We love Coastal Kids! The nurses are really friendly and sweet and Dr. Kao is wonderful with our son. Everyone has been very helpful and informative with any question we have, including the times we've called outside of having an appointment - we've received prompt calls back with detailed information provided about our questions.

We made the switch too this office after moving. I wish we had been coming here for years. Everyone is so great with my son, they are so sweet and fun with him. I've brought him several times over the last year, and even when he wasn't feeling well they were still able to keep him engaged and happy AND get a full checkup.
