A company where the employee cares as much as the owner, is hard to find but it is true of Coit Cleaning and Restoration. A number of years ago, I needed my furnace ducts cleaned. I had that done and we discussed other work I needed to consider like furniture cleaning, grout cleaning and more. I had many issues preventing me from cleaning my apartment carpet. And my husband was always working so he was to busy or had no energy to deal with it. I looked all around for a cleaning service that would vaccum for us instead of having us pre-vaccume. Let's face it my crappy cheap wal mart vaccum was gonna do very little vaccuming. Several weeks ago, COIT Cleaning and Restoration came out to clean up a mess after a pipe had burst in my basement and soaked multiple walls and a partial room of carpet. A local plumbing company (which I won't name) had been there the day before, and you'd think a tornado came through my basement, as they ripped a vanity off of the bathroom wall, punched holes in multiple walls, and left their entire mess for the next person to clean up. I had a really bad carpet stain after dropping my groceries (milk everywhere) and I needed to get it cleaned up and pretty quick. I had seen COIT a lot where I use to live but never had a need to use carpet cleaning until now so I figured now was as good of a time to try them as any. Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Unreachable--Save Yourself the Frustration I scheduled an upholstery with this company and my initial contact was positive. They answered all my all my questions and the price quote was fair. I discussed parking concerns in advance since i live downtown parking can be an issue. I have used Coit 4 or 5 times in the past, but was never treated as badly as I was this time. The tech who did the work was excellent. The business was the worst I've encountered in 11 years of living in Omaha. First they arrived to do the cleaning on Tuesday but were missing a key extension cord (and they arrived around an hour late), so even though I had moved all our furniture, they were unable to do the work. I wish I could give this company a negative rating. We worked with some guy named Freddy (last name Hansley? I believe) and he is literally the shiftiest person I've ever met. He screwed both the owner and contractor with his lies. He lied about who owned the house. He lied about the finishing material needed. He lied about prices. He lied about the time frame. BAD BUSINESS - showed up with unhappy tech, old equipment and significantly damaged base board in entry, damaged carpet, splattered chemicals from tile being cleaned 2-3 feet away into adjacent rooms, and killed grass in front lawn from leaking equipment - NEVER took responsibility, NEVER honored 100% satisfaction guarantee - BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It takes alot for me to give a review, either way. I wish I could attach the picture I took of them dumping my rugs on the front porch with not so much as a knock! Unprofessional, rude, late, and poor communication! Never again will I Use them and never will I recommend them.
