Get directionsAfter my wife was asked to leave the community she went into in Feb. , A place for Mom contacted me about Commonwealth Kings Grant House. I was so happy that they agreed to take her in even though she had many difficult behavior issues due to advanced stage Alzheimers disease. In about 4 days they had her under control and even enjoying activities. I am grateful that Commonwealth had the experience needed to take care of her.
We have been fairly pleased, while trying to be realistic about our expectations. My understanding is that most all of these facilities under staffed. I've been told that there is a certain legal requirement for the number of CNAs that must be on site for the number of residents, and that they meet the minimum; but that amount is not realistic in my opinion. There are seniors in the memory section who need a LOT of help....from sometimes more than one CNA at a time. It wouldn't be possible to cover two residents with emergen... read more

When I first visited King's Grant I felt the feeling of caring as soon as I walked in and was greeted. The staff was upbeat and greeted me like a old friend. The first few days were just getting use to everything and everyone. They treat her with respect and also her family. She is adjusting to being there after living alone for so long. But losing her sight has alot to do with accepting things, but she is getting better at that. But over all it's a great place for her. I know she is taken care of and don't have to worry abo... read more
Everything is working out well for my parents with their move to this community. They are safe, and in good hands overall. I'am pleased with all they have done for us. A place for mom was helpful with referring this community to us. All is well for my parents here in this facility.
It was okay to me when I had a tour of the community. It looked pretty good for another family but they were not what I was looking for.
This is a lovely facility! It is very clean and the staff do the best that they can to make sure that my father is comfortable. Though my father has limited mobility, he also enjoys the activities that they have to offer.
My friend is doing well here at this community. She had adjusted well to it, and I'am pleased with her move to this community. The staff is taking very good care of her, and her needs. The experience has gone well.
The Commonwealth Senior Living at King's Grant House has been a good fit for my wife. The place is clean and all of the staff that I have come in contact with have been nice. I have no complaints about the place.
I would give it a 4 1/2 star rating. My husband has been there for almost 3 weeks. His room and bath are roomy, comfortable, sets his own temperature. Meals seem well prepared, appetizing, attractive, tablecloths on tables, aides assist any who need help getting to the dining room and eating. Building is clean and in good repair, there are some activities for any who want to participate. Friendly help is available when necessary for showers and dressing, and talk to family anytime we desire. Like ready availability of drinki... read more
