I've been going to DRFP for 6 years. The care and dedication from both their physicians and wonderful staff are top notch. Dr. Velasquez is brilliant and warm, a very caring doctor. She spends time and is an active listener. I'm in good hands there, you will be too!

Dr. Gazda is the best. I'm not usually one to get all worked up about a family physician but Dr. Gazda is something special. We started going to him when he was previously in Mesa and it was a no brained for us to follow him even after he moved to N Phx. He's fantastic with my daughter and as long as I'm in the valley he'll be the only Dr I'll see. Made an appointment with this practice for the first time. One star for accepting a new patient and same day appointment however complete waste of time. Saw Dr. Wheeler for a sore throat/trouble swallowing lasting over a week. She said it could be mono and no test for strep. I asked her what would a diagnosis for mono do to which there is no treatment for to which she said but at least you'll know what you have. Dr. Acuna is one of the worst doctors I've experienced in my entire life. I wanted to get a certain lab test done but he told me it was a waste of time and money but that he would do it anyways to give me peace of mind. Then they left me an ambiguous voicemail saying they found something strange in my results so I called back and they wouldn't tell me my own results over the phone so I had to make an appointment for him to tell me he "knew from the beginning" I had what I had and that it was smart that he tested me for it. ... read more

I have previously loved this office but I am extremely annoyed at them over a recent billing issue. I went in for a well visit and because they asked if I wanted a refill I was charged for a sick visit (which I paid for) and now they are asking for money for a different test and they won't work with me to use the funds previously paid (which I still don't believe I owe them). I will be finding a new office.

I am very pleased with this location, my physician is Dr Patricia Rodriguez..she is professional, knowledgeable and caring. Dr Rodriguez and the staff are extremely kind, friendly and make you feel very comfortable & at ease.You can communicate via Patient Portal ,communicating with your Dr or staff via emails or you can call the office & they're always helpful ..I was there yesterday and was able to send a message to my Dr with some additional info ,which is so convenient,also the results of my blood tests were completed & ... read more

It's such a great area and office is great and the front desk is very nice. My reason for 2 stars is in the doctors. My first visit they refused to believe I had strep and tried to convince me I had mono. When I left I went to an urgent care 2 days later and they said it was without a doubt strep and couldn't believe I had waiting to get in to see them and get antibiotics. I can't say enough positive things about my experience here! The check in process was quick. And the online scheduling is very easy. Dr. Hernandez is absolutely amazing. You can tell that your needs are his priority and he is extremely passionate about what he does. I am so happy to have finally found a great PCP!

It was my first visit with Doctor Gazda today. I use to see Doctor Witte and he took over for her. My first impression is that he is a good listener and is very empathetic. When you have a lot to say as a patient and still have a good conversation that's a great recipe for success.
