Grandma's loving it there, she's being well taken care of, they're catering to her with every need that she has and they've been wonderful to her. As far as I know I think a housekeeper comes in once a week, she has a pain management where they take care of her pills for her and it's going well. We haven't had any issues with it because they have a person that takes care of it for her as far as prescriptions and things are concerned. It's a very, very nice facility - it's very clean, very well taken care of. The staff pays close attention to him and seems to give him a lot of care. The lady who does the marketing seems to be very well-informed, and I was able to do this over the phone (I'm in Kansas and he's in California, so there were a lot of logistics to take care of) very confidently. The reason I choose the “Emeritus at Hemet” is because it has a really good atmosphere. The people are really friendly and helpful and it has a good layout. They have plenty of activities to help keep everyone busy. My brother also says that the food is good, no complaints. All in all Emeritus had the whole package with the top notch care that my brother deserves.

The overall morale is down, the meals are not good. My sister is gone to quite a few meetings about the food and nothing's changed. They've even been without ketchup, mustard, brown sugar. They have powdered eggs. seafood can be dry. She said they served Philly cheesesteak sandwiches with just a piece of meat in it no cheese. Nothing else meals are usually what people look forward to.

We have reinforced all server training so that the residents will be able to enjoy their food with condiments. With regard to the overall quality, we will continue to monitor improvements because you are right, the residents look forward to mealtimes.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is a hell hole for one. They don't have enough food for the residents, so people have to share food!!! Then staff tell them that there isn't enough money to buy more food !! The second one is that they are under staffed they only have one caregiver for all six cottages for the whole night. They give the residents safety pendants, but they don't work, and when they do work, staff ignore them. We read and respond to all online reviews and some of this information seems a bit far-fetched based on your comments. We are not understaffed based on the level of staffing set by the State licensing authority who determines the ratio between care staff and residents. Assisted Living residents intermingle with Memory Care residents only when we all get together to celebrate birthdays or other special events. We also have Happy Hours weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Your other comments are not as truthful as would be help... read more
Facility is average, staff... I have not much interaction with. My sister works with the Staff. I pretty much just visit and bring things as needed. They need more activities. My mom says she pretty much just sits in her room and watches TV between meals.

The staff is accommodating enough. The only complaint I have is the site bus only allows for transport on one day of the week. The move in process is simple as long as u have your own help. Communication could be better. They communicate with the resident and I don't always get the right info. My loved one hasn't complained to me about the meals, so I'd assume they are good. Suggestions for improvement would be a better system for transportation of the residents. I would recommend this facility to others.
