My mom/mother in law lived here for almost 4 years. The staff has been amazing!! The director Sarah and nurse Christie has been wonderful and great at communicating to let me know any concerns. My mom recently passed and the staff was amazing and so helpful and caring for my mom. She loved them and was happy to call this home. I am so grateful for Sarah, there were a few directors before her and she is the best and very good at what she does! Robin and Andy Doan
My mom has been at Courtyard Estates for 3 years now. She has a beautiful room and has made many friends!!! The current activity director is phenomenal keeping the residents busy and happy. The staff truly cares about the residents and their well being. I'm so happy my mom likes to call this place "home" Shirley Miller
My mother n law and my brother live at Courtyard in Bondurant Iowa. They have and are so attentive, show compassion to all the residents. The staff is kind and talks with the residents and family. We got to know the staff and became friends. They have monthly themed dinners that includes the family. If a resident needs help with anything, staff are there to help and assist with anything. I have comfort with family living at Courtyard.
No stars. We were lied to about the quality of care that we were told would be certain that our mother would receive for 7 days of respite care. After her 1st night we found her slumped in a chair with a plate of what looked like regurgitated food. No one cared enough to help her take the cellophane off of the plate. We went to get her food and drink. Upon returning the same evening, she was covered in feces, her clothes and her body. She tried to make it to the restroom on her own but didn’t make it. My mother-in-law has resided at Courtyard Estates for 7 years. It is comforting to have her close to home and her family. She has always received the high quality love and care that we wish for her. Sarah and the staff she currently has there show they truly care about the residents and know their individual needs. We appreciate all they do to make this special place home for her.
