Steak was overcooked and there are very limited gluten free options. Server was not knowledgable about gluten free.
Food was very good especially the filet. Party like atmosphere full of loud obnoxious people who were more than likely day drinking there all day. This was rather annoying. I realize people are on vacation and want to have a good time, but for the prices you pay here, we expected to have a a nice family dinner in an elegant restaurant. Our server was personable but clearly overwhelmed….the neighboring server (Josh from NY that had the table we should have waited for) willingly and graciously assisted us on numerous occasions. The food was plentiful and had some reasonably priced selections. Location on the beach is wonderful. Shepherd’s advertises that parking is comped with proof of purchase from this restaurant, and the valet refused to honor that, and we didn’t have the energy to argue with him or involve management for resolution. Brunch items on Saturday and Sunday are great, especially shrimp & grits. Delicious drinks! Typical resort pricing.
Food was good but ingredients are non negotiable since food is cooked sous vide. My wife’s steak was heavily peppered. The waiter said it was just a small bit of pepper. My wife wiped most of the pepper off on her $50 steak. It’s was decent but would not go back.
Great food and drinks. Blane did a great job for us at the bar. We can't wait to go back
Stayed at Shepards Beach Resort. Tried Coves fir Easter but was not impressed with menu. Food was just OK but toast was cold & biscuits & gravy wasn't very good. Ervice was fine.. Wouldn't go back
Good food and affordable. Patio is right on the beach.
