The Cove was truly wonderful! Staff were kind, the bar manager Bre was phenomenal and her espresso martini is out of this world. The manager Blake was very attentive and he really took pride in making sure all the guest were taken care of. I can’t wait to go back! We had the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer, so tasty, and black grouper is a MUST for entree.
I expected lot more. The place was almost empty for Sunday brunch. We were seated at a window table which was dirty with crumbs all over the seats and floor , dirty windows, and a dirty knife. The hostess had to clean up. There was no wait staff assigned to our table and we had to flag someone down who then “ became” our waiter. He was nice enough but really? We both ordered steaks, although the steaks were cooked perfectly. They basically provided butter knives to cut with.

Overall, very disappointed. We had a reservation and when we got there, they said it would be a 40 mins wait. Hostesses treated us like walk-ins, nobody offered to sit us at the bar for a drink while we waited. Then, when we finally sat down almost 45 mins later, it took 30 mins to get drinks (literally gin and tonic), plus another 10 mins for an appetizer. I made reservations for my sons birthday we had an average table size of 5 for breakfast. We were about 12 minutes past our reservation time. They didn’t have the table ready which was fine and very understandable my son was still parking. The front host service was also with the management team it end up taking 20 more minutes to be seated (forgotten about) we were finally seated. Ppl being arrested as we walked up to the hotel the restaurant is in.. watched more ppl arrested. Patio is slanted and table slanted. Menus were nasty.
When wedding or parties are in the reserve room you cannot even talk to your dinner friends. I expected a more elevated atmosphere based on the fine dining description. It was a bar and grill. The food was good and the waiter was attentive. Very poor atmosphere and decor for a fine restaurant.
