Cracker Barrel is not consistent anymore with their food. Nothing tastes the same. The food is either too salty or not seasoned at all. The whole order was disappointing. It arrived hot but you can't fix a wad of dumplings that are all stuck together. The okra was inedible due to it consisting of all stems & end pieces. The 1 biscuit & 1 cornbread sent were smaller than usual plus could have been used as hockey pucks. They jipped me on my syrup for my pancakes again and I paid for it.
The Steak & Eggs are good when cooked properly.
They almost always forget the extra syrup that I pay for
It wasn't bad but there was no in between. Just because the food leaves the restaurant doesn't mean you should send it. Would you give me a burnt pancake in the restaurant. Maybe but I'd send it back. I started eating it said forget it and ate the other pancake. Everything else was fine! I recommended this cause it is my favorite dish when done right!
I placed an order for Two Buttermilk Pancakes and Thick-Sliced Bacon. The pancakes came 2 in one order and bacon came 3 in one order I had 5 orders of Two Buttermilk Pancakes and 4 of the bacon orders for a total of 10 pancakes and and 12 pieces of bacon to feed 5 people. When I received my order I had 1 container of pancakes and 4 containers of bacon and a ton of bacon and cutlery! They were out of pot roast and would let me order steak-it was more expensive. But they offered a few things instead that were all less and didn't give me refund on the difference. I ordered the country fried steak and it was not good.
I swear my tea was opened already. The Plain Hashbrowns were super salty. The Two Buttermilk Pancakes were good.
This is two separate meals I paid over $40 for. A half of scoop of everything is insane. Cracker Barrel knows better!!! Highly upset
