ordered Week Southern Fried Chicken and every piece was pink inside.
Besides the fact that the chicken was fried in old oil (the skin was very dark brown); I pulled it back to get to the meat. The Grilled Catfish was over cooked until it was chewy.
Ordered a s''mores latte for 5 dollars and the drink tastes like black coffee with a bit of half and half ...
Would not order the Grilled Chicken Tenders again. They were chewy and flavorless. The sides were good.
I ordered chicken Chicken & Dumplins, the sides were good but the chicken and dumplings was horrible, so salty it cannot be eaten, and this isn't dumplings, it's big dough balls, virtually no gravy. this is not what cracker barrel used to be. in contrast, the Chicken & Dumplin Soup Bowl is bland and flavorless
Ordered an item with 3 sides (paid additional for 3rd); did not receive 3rd side. Poor carryout service.
all of my food was cold. the menu change from a side of dumplings to dumpling soup was a huge mistake. there were no dumplings in it. green beans were bland and the Mac and cheese serving size was child like. I don't get cracker barrel often due to the economy. so it's very disappointing that it wasn't worth the wait. the only thing I enjoyed was the corn muffins. husband said his food was cold as well
usually love it but, it was all in the same serving dish stacked on top of each other. potatoes had been stiff like they were sitting for hours. didn't have sawmill gravey and instead of making it unavailable switched it after they made it with a substitute. wasn't the meal I was expecting. dont have the same issue if I order durning the day.
U guys are being cheap with gravy
