Great Catfish Tried the catfish platter and it was excellent. Good service, friendly staff, and clean, pleasant dining room.
Just your average Craker Barrel I have been to this restaurant many times as well as many other's around the country and in my opinion, they are all the same. I just wished that the apples they used for fried apples were peeled first!
If I didn't know better, this Cracker Barrel could have just as easily been in Charleston, South Carolina. Or Glendale, Arizona. Or Delray Beach, Florida....
Good food, friendly service. I love the ambience and the country store always has the coolest stuff!
Disclaimer: (1) Since this is one of my favorite breakfast chains (think Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House, etc), I have a hard time giving any Cracker Barrel...
Outstanding service and even better country cooking. I love everything on the menu. Generous helpings. I always leave stuffed and happy. Love to browse in the gift shop, too.
The best Cracker I ever ate!! I have eaten at quite a few Cracker Barrels across the country and the one in Barboursville is always the best. They have the best food and staff ever.
I wouldn't really liken this to the southern food you can expect in South Carolina and Georgia because it isn't really good, fresh cuisine.
Nothing special Had the oven baked chicken - cornflake coated mystery meat. A small side of cucumbers w/ tomatoes plus some steamed broccoli were the best part. $10 was to much to pay.
