It never fails that they leave out an item, and yet I continue ordering.
I have always enjoyed Cracker Barrel, but this meal was just ok at best. Bacon was burnt to a crisp and the top of the hash brown casserole was very crunchy.
Food tasted fine, but took quite a while and order was not right. I had ordered 3 different sides (one double), but they were out of one (totally understandable) and just completely overlooked the other, so I wound up with 4 servings of hashbrown casserole for my vegetable platter. Basically $34 for that and a drink. Probably my fault for ordering on a Sunday morning.
This is the first chance I've had to order the "Saturday Only" Pork Chop special. It was absolutely delicious. So tender I did not need a knife to cut it up. As always, the Rainbow Trout was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Kudosto the Chef at this restaurant location.
our food is always hot and fresh.. the country Country Fried Steak and roast beef are amazing..I would recommend cracker barrel to anyone.
Steak was a bit undercooked
the Hamburger Steak** was cold and dry and they forgot it so I had to reorder it
Cookies were frozen. Overall good meal.
We had two kids meals (Crispy Rockin' Shrimp and Chicken Tenders) as add-ons to our Fried Catfish dinners, and most everything was excellent. Minor nit-picks: hush puppies are too small and to few (we *LOVE* Uncle Bud's hush puppies, these are barely adequate), the tarter sauce arrives hot because it's packed with the fish, and *ask for extra butter*, as there isn't enough.
