Nice decor with accessories shop, but the Louisiana shrimp skillet was extremely salty... and some of the shrimp weren't fully cooked.
I got the turkey meal with carrots stuffing and sweet potato. The carrots had a weird taste to them. The turkey gravy and stuffing were delicious. The turkey melted in your mouth. The sweet potato was quite sweet. I got my dad the two piece cod meal with three sides. He got baked potato, fried apples, and fried okra. Im pretty disappointed. My wife and I have been eating here for years, always loved it but today the Homestyle chicken was just not good. Whatever you guys changed in the recipe or the cooking method...go back. Even the apple butter is a lighter color and doesn't taste as good as before.
Me , my husband and daughter visited Cracker Barrel on higley road for breakfast and it was as busy as I have ever seen a restaurant. We were a little worried because there were so many people that we thought the service and/or food may not be as good. We don’t get to a Cracker Barrel often it I was craving there hash brown casserole some we decided to go for a Friday breakfast. I had been a few years since our last time at a Cracker Barrel but the atmosphere was exactly the same as I remembered. We were seated and got coffee and water right away. The server was polite and attentive.
