We don’t get to a Cracker Barrel often it I was craving there hash brown casserole some we decided to go for a Friday breakfast. I had been a few years since our last time at a Cracker Barrel but the atmosphere was exactly the same as I remembered. We were seated and got coffee and water right away. We stopped here for breakfast while we were on a road trip. We chose to eat here because we couldn't eat the hotel breakfast another day LOL. The entire atmosphere was very bright and upbeat. It all started with the host that greeted us when we walked in. His smile was infectious and he was very warm and welcoming. I stopped at the Gilbert, AZ location and was seated within 10 minutes on a busy Sunday morning. Monique, my Waitress was prompt in taking my beverage and meal order. My meal came very quickly and was hot. The chicken and dumplings, fried apples and broccoli casserole were delicious. The portions were large and I had enough leftover for another meal. Ordered delivery, so I don’t expect items to he hot but everything was cold. Cold bacon, cold pancakes and cold eggs. Eggs 1) shells in eggs 2) fried not scrambled 3) ice cold For $46 I expected better. Fire whoever made the eggs.
Great food again! Nice to know that quality and customer service still exist! Great value for your money too! Delicious fresh fruit served just as pictured. Don’t forget to shop their store. You can always find a little something for upcoming events & holidays that will fit any budget.
