Today the eggs and French to kind of just tasted blah. The eggs arrived cold, bacon, sausage and Hashbrown Casserole were fine. The French toast was chewy and just tasted like it was made a few days ago.

The tenders were deliious but the mashed potatoes were watery and the cheese sauce on the broccoli was salty.

Everything was great, as always. The chicken in the Dumplings was not very good though and the Homestyle chicken was kinda basic. The sides are always the best part of Cracker Barrel, so Mac and Cheese, Fried Apples, and the fried okra were great.

I had the Smokey Southern Grilled Chicken. It was cooked well however there was no Smokey flavor. In fact even though it looked like it had blacken seasoning, it had no seasoning at all. Not even salt and pepper. Disappointed.

The Barrel Cheeseburger* will forever be one of the best things on this menu. One of the best cheeseburgers you will ever have.

Steak is overcooked and dry. Gravy tastes like it was diluted with water. The rest is good.

The Roast Beef was excellent, as were the sides. One of the best things, though, is that they included butter (real butter, too!) with the cornbread. I get so tired of other restaurants expecting us to eat cornbread or biscuits dry, that this inclusion really made me think I'll be ordering from Cracker Barrel more often.

Meatloaf was good but the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake was dry. It was obviously precut and left out. They should leave it in the pan until ordered. They also put some weird salad dressing in my broccoli when I ordered cheese sauce. It's not supposed to be sweet.
