After two prior bad meals at cracker Barrel wife said "Let's give 'em another chance. More disappointment. Wife ordered Blueberry pancakes, delivered 5 minutes before my chicken fried steak and egg platter, pancakes cold and doughy, (undercooked) and unedible sent back to kitchen. My chicken fried steak was no chicken fry, but it was a frozen cutlet, undercooked and greasy....
I ordered the grilled catfish and was surprised that it was pretty greasy; it looked sautéed rather than grilled; there seemed to be butter or oil on both sides, so it was inedible as far as I was concerned. needs a negative star... Have tried this place 3 times. EVERY TIME I HAVE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WHEN I TALK TO THE MANAGER HE ALWAYS SAID THAT THE WAIT STAFF CHANGED AND NO ONE KNEW WHAT TABLE WAS THEIRS...Every time when they are busy? last time it took 45 min for someone to brimg us drinks!
I've never had good service here. The service is never good, (however, last time we had a very sweet waiter with blonde curly hair, male) the order is either wrong, they are "out", or it tastes horrible. The store inside is absolutely darling and would be a nice place to shop for gifts, but if your thinking about stopping in for a bite to eat, you might want to think twice.

The food is honest, the service is good but the NOISE...How is possible??? The servants clean the tables with baskets...make a big noise and is not delicate you see the food fall in the basket !!!I see the same in Cracker Barrel in Shawnee and here in Norman too. Is terrible!
