Dinner at Cracker Barrel with the family felt like a culinary lottery, and we definitely didn’t win the jackpot. We ordered two steaks: one with shrimp, one with fried chicken. I asked for medium rare, but my steak showed up well done, while my wife's medium steak decided to swap places and came out medium rare. A real steak identity crisis! Absolutely amazing service and care from this team! Lucy truly made us feel welcome on our honeymoon, she made sure we were cared for, she went above and beyond, giving us excellent places to try out around the area. Went here on Thursday September 26th 2024 with my parents as part of our south carolina vacation. This is our first time at this location, but essentially, if you've been in one cracker barrel, you've been in them all! We went directly to the host stand located in the back. I had the shepherds pie and it was horrible. The beef was burnt and dry and the top with hash browns and cheese was burnt. My husband always looks forward to the turkey dinner. He was served the smallest piece of turkey I have ever seen. Nothing like he usually gets. Overall quality was very poor. Our waiter must have been new. Food is never served hot enough!! Always just warm Plate is hot but not the food!!!! Waitress didn't speak loud enough for me to understand and I can't stand to look at rings in their noses when I'm ordering food. We put rings in the bull's nose on the farm. I don't know what these young people are trying to prove. It grosses me out!!!!! Down right ugly!!!!
