Today May 11th my husband and I watched as Cracker Barrel kicked a disabled man and his sister out of the Valdosta GA location because he had a service animal. 1 woman claimed she was allergic. They did nothing to accommodate the disabled person or even explain to the complainer why he had a right to be there. My husband is disabled and there is no way on earth we would stand by and allow a disabled person to be abused, harassed and mistreated. My party of 4 went to the Cracker Barrel in Mt. Laurel NJ. My wife ordered chicken and dumplings with two sides. I ordered fried chicken and potatoes. Well the waitress bought out a plate of dumplings with no chicken to be found. She informed the waitress of her missing items and waited for them to come. We have eaten in dozens of Cracker Barrel sites over nearly 50 years.The one here in Corpus Christi where we live has ,in general,the worst service and management we have ever seen.WE have been their twice and waited 40-45 minutes AFTER getting a table in a nearly empty restaurant.What is the problem that nobody even says "Hello" or anything for 45 minutes? Was not greeted but other ppl were even to the place where they blocked isle to talk with the guest we left and drove to the next location and service was better but the friendly staff . Was not like it use to be
I called and spoke to the GM of the Snellville, GA location regarding the poor MGMT. My daughter, grandkids and I made over 6 attempts to eat there and each time over an hour and 45 min wait. The GM apologized and said he would send me out a $50.00 gift card that I never got. No wonder the managers of the restaurants act like they do, they follow lead from the G.M.'s. I am totally frustrated with Cracker Barrel. This issue started 11/21/2020 and as of today, 12/10/2020 I have not received ANY response from Cracker Barrel for multiple attempts to resolve the problem. We received at multi value gift card for Christmas last year (2019). Card was loaded with $35 and properly activated. I never received a promo $10 bonus card for a Monday 10/23 pickup of a Thanksgiving Heat n' Serve family meal. When picking up the meal the restaurant said it would be emailed to me.
