Nice Cracker Barrel restaurant located in Lancaster, PA right near retail shops and outlets. This is the classic Cracker Barrel atmosphere with the old country store decor and the cool retail store. The food was good and our server was nice and courteous. The place was busy, which is normal for Cracker Barrel but we were seated fast and our food came in good timing. Overall, the place was decent, but not great. There were some things that weren't so great - for instance, my husband's steak bits were very overcooked, fries were lacking flavor, and my food was a little bit on the colder side. But other than that, the food was pretty good. One of the highlights was the baked apple side, and the casserole. The service was fantastic and prompt for being busy. The chicken fried chicken was exceptional along with the side dishes of baby carrots, mashed potatoes, and fried apples. I would also recommend the new granny smith apple tea that is available for the Fall 2024 season! I recommend this location to anybody who adores Southern fare and a nostalgic, welcoming atmosphere!
Excellent ! Experience. Food. Service. If you are hungry order the sampler. Oh my. Meatloaf chicken breast and dumplings were my choices. I enjoyed this the next day for lunch. Our server was exceptional. Really made the end of our day. Thank you
