First time at cracker barrel ever. Food was amazing. However really long wait for food like probably one of the longest amounts of time I've waited at any restaurant. The waitress brought out food then said I'll be right back with the biscuits and gravy and was 10 minutes later.
Louisiana-Style Shrimp Skillet with parmesan bread (good taste, but shrimps were tenderized so not very good) Country pot roast with mashed potatoes and hashbrown casserole (good) Country fried steak with rice and cole slaw (good) Biscuits were not good, bottom half was hard. Cozy environment and friendly servers.
Nice Cracker Barrel restaurant located in Lancaster, PA right near retail shops and outlets. This is the classic Cracker Barrel atmosphere with the old country store decor and the cool retail store. The food was good and our server was nice and courteous. The place was busy, which is normal for Cracker Barrel but we were seated fast and our food came in good timing. Have not visited a Cracker Barrel in years. Totally different feel, menu, but today’s food was delicious in spite of a really long wait for food! No glass glasses, a bit odd . Server named Destiny was super friendly and sweet. The fried chicken was great. Baked potato fresh. Biscuits not the same but ok. Broccoli looked good but tasted off.
My mother and I saw the billboard featuring the Oreo pancakes so we decided to pay a visit. Our experience was less than pleasant. First off, we were seated and had to wait for about 10 minutes till I had to go to the hostess and ask for our waitress. She went and found her but she had no idea we were in her section.
