I used to love Cracker Barrel but I've noticed in the past few years or I know the one in East Ridge TN does this, when you order a Country Vegetable Plate they hide meat in their pinto beans & turnip greens like crazy! This time the mashed potatoes I didn't eat because they were hard even with a fork. BUT.. if someone orders a veggie plate, that generally means they don't want the meat & maybe watching their cholesterol like myself! Don't offer a veggie option if you're going to cook it with meat. Eggs cold and rubbery on both breakfast meals. Took a lot longer to get than listed.
They dint put ev you or in your bag. I irder a 12.00 bot of syrup and didn receive it. Plus the ham we or was nothing but fat.
Sunday Homestyle Chicken was terribly dry. The restaurant was extremely slow. Dasher had to wait almost 30 minutes. I even called the restaurant to find out what the delay was.
French toast was burnt and chicken was raw..
There was no gravy for the country fried steak. No butter for the bread. The ham had a lot of fat. Not up to standards. Very disappointing meal. Unfortunately, typical of this location.
Food is much better,when I dine in. I ordered today, to be delivered Chicken n Dumplings, Turnip Greens Mashed Potatoes and Cornbread. It tasted so bad, I put it in the garbage.
hashbrown casserole tasted like cream of chicken soup never had it that nasty before
The food was good, but the peach cobbler had no crust, just peaches. Kinda disappointing.
