I asked for a medium well steak it was well done, burnt and tooooo tough to chew only thing hitting was the eggs and grits
The food was good but they always forget something. This time it was the biscuits for both meals. Disappointing.
Food was way too salty. My Hamburger and my husband's chicken were almost too salty to eat. The sides were excellent as well as the desserts!
The pot pie tasted horrible. Chicken was hard and gross. KFC pot pie is 100% better
The Buttermilk Pancakes with 100% Pure Natural Syrup to small
The steak tasted fine, but was extremely tough.
Chicken n' Dumplins were fantastic. I do feel the portion size was awfully small for $13 however. They were definitely short on the sides as well. Maybe the to go portions are smaller than dine in, or maybe Cracker Barrel has participated in shrinkflation, one of the two. I was also very disappointed to see they left out butter and jam for the biscuits, so luckily I had some on hand at home.
Grilled chicken was a little burnt this time. Usually it's perfect.
Roast beef was tough. Hashbrown casserole was burnt. Dumplings were dry with no sauce. other vegetables were cold.
