Chicken was dark as if fried in old grease. Normally extremely happy with my order. It was delivered so fast now I know why. Extremely disappointed
Chocolate chip pancakes were horrible. The chips were not mixed in. Just piled on top then cooked on the pan. Which made them come out in one clump that tasted like burnt chocolate.
Took 37 minutes for my door dasher to get a vegetable plate from Cracker Barrel. The fried apples were only 5 slices. I remember servings at the restaurant being a bit fuller. The cornbread was exactly that. No butter or jam. Guess I won't try again

Pot roast had TONS of fat and the dumpling were bland. Liked the green beans
Decided to have Mother's Day dinner delivered as my mom loves Cracker Barrel and usually goes to Kyle but San Marcos is the one closest and it was a huge disappointment. 1 they were out of mashed potatoes so they replaced it with what was supposed to be steamed broccoli but it was cold and hard (raw), second one of the meals was Chicken Fried Chicken and they forgot the gravy so it was just dry chicken. My The Cracker Barrel's Country Boy Breakfast was cold, and eggs were overcooked. Was disappointed because it is usually very good. For the money I payed it should have at least warm
Avoid the chicken fried steak. It was flat, looked like breaded liver, and was reminiscent of a school cafeteria lunch. I doubt I would ever order from Cracker Barrel again.
I had such high hopes for this place. Ordered tbebreakfaat. The eggs were not tasty and chose not to finish them and the pancakes were so-so. Will not be ordering from this place again. Prefer the other local breakfast cafes.
