The food we received this evening was not representative of the quality we've come to know and love from Cracker Barrel. It was cold, despite the fact that the driver had to wait an extremely lengthy time for it and the restaurant was minutes away from our hotel (the driver had no other deliveries before ours). The food had a weird taste and the portion sizes were small. The mashed potatoes were hard and the sweet tea was nasty.
The chicken and dumplings were old dried out, broccoli was burnt Mac and cheese was old.
the tater rounds were overcooked and inedible. like little golden hockey pucks. the shrimp and hush puppy were good though.
grits was more like soup, received half a sausage patty, to top it off I had runny scrambled eggs.
