corn muffins hard as tacks, tenders delight, green beans had a slight metal flavor
As a girl from the South, super disappointed with Michigans Crackel barrel. Food has no favor and spices. The shepherds pie tasted so bad, I gave it to my pet seagull Frank. He seemed to enjoy it.
This meal is my go-to, unfortunately this time the Homestyle Chicken was thinking and dry. I'll get it again, but man...when you can't fix the problem make sure you're sending out the quality i've grown accustomed to! All in good natured of course. Thank you for 9/10!!!
forgot two major components of my meal: no gravy for the biscuits and gravy and no syrup for the pancakes that I had to pay an uncharge for. second time I've had an issue with CB in a row.
By far, the worst biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Flavorless, coagulation.
The Fried chicken was most breading and fat!
Biscuits were stale. Eveything was cold and set up like it came from a freezer. Terrible.
The chicken and dumplings were gross. The dumplings were mushy and bland tasting. Barely and chicken at all. The biscuit was rock hard. The cornbread was somehow even harder than the biscuit. The green beans were overcooked or spoiled , or something was wrong with them. All of my coworkers cleared out when I opened my food container just from the smell of them. The Spicy Chicken Sausage could've been spicier¹, & the bacon more crispy². Besides that, everything tasted good. ¹It was a solid 2 out of 10; the spice didn't hit me right away--it was more of a slow build up--but even when it did it wasn't really that spicy, so I was left feeling dissatisfied. For reference, Sriracha or Jalapeños are like a 4 to me (mouth watering & burns) & I prefer my food at a 5 or 6. ²The bacon was crispy, but I prefer mine to be crunchier, like bacon bits I guess.
