Now this is a Cracker Barrel like I remember from when they initially opened, and unlike many I visit in the Florida area.The food was amazing. Service was exceptional and friendly. The old times gift store was great for grabbing last minute gifts. We will frequent this location when driving through Georgia!
The food at Cracker Barrel has significantly gone downhill. The menu options are extremely limited. My companions and I were shocked to see that they no longer have the sunrise sampler and the egg sandwich as breakfast options. The eggs were fair. The bacon was chewy and should have been cooked longer. The onion flavor in the hash brown casserole over powered the dish. At least the biscuits were yummy! We’ve eaten at this Cracker Barrel for years going back and forth to Florida. Tonight the staff at the front desk was very confused and disorganized leading to a big back up. When we were finally seated we were told they were out of silverware, steaks, and the nightly special of ribs. The bright spot of the night was Leslie our waitress. She rounded up clean silverware and provided good service. We stuck with the old favorites since it appeared the kitchen was over taxed. The food and service was excellent! The waitress, Brileigh was wonderful! She told us about the appetizers and we tried the one she suggested and we were not disappointed! She also informed us of the app so we could receive rewards and such. I usually hate dining out because we always get bad service but this was a great experience for us.
The service was exceptional. The server that helped us was phenomenal. I was traveling from ft lauderdale FL to hayesville NC and this was a stop along the way before heading back out the following morning. I was so pleased with the whole interaction. I highly recommend this one. I had the strawberry pancakes that our server recommended and was not disappointed. 😁😁😁
