We are generally pleased with Cracker Barrel and try to eat at one at least once on trips. We were very pleased with the service (Kayla) and the dumplings were the best we have had north of Tennessee!! Very much like the kind my mom made. My favorite part of ordering food at Cracker Barrel is the ability to customize my meal. Recently I had their rainbow trout, nicely prepared, with two sides of my choice. The list of sides included healthier foods and traditional items. Our server was very helpful and friendly. I also like browsing their country store for gifts and myself!
I was here on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not crowded, service was good. I ordered a steak and it was as good as any steak I've had at a restaurant that specializes in steak.
Located directly next to our hotel, this was the obvious choice for breakfast. We didn't have any problems. It was a standard Cracker Barrel experience. A side note worth mentioning was this location was perhaps the least busy of any Cracker Barrel I have EVER been to.
Great service, kinda hidden but we'll worth the extra effort. Priced reasonable, always more food than one can eat.
It was 9PM when we stopped to eat. The food was very good as it usually is at Cracker Barrels. The service was okay, not as fast as we would have liked since we were tired and hungry!
