Went to Lenoir to seafood truck and decided to stop in and have breakfast. What a treat, we have eaten at many Cracker Barrel Restaurants and have never experienced a waiter like we had here. If you go ask to sit in Harry's section, you will receive first class service!! While it may be a long travel to eat for us we will definitely do it again just to see him. Awesome Job Harry Borden!! Order to go- kids chicken finger with steak fries- chicken was tough and had been sitting for a long time- not at all a crispy batter. Chocolate chip pancakes were greasy- and burnt on the edges. To go bag was sticky- like some kind of sticky sauce. One meal was good- chicken n’dumplings, green beans, and carrots. Bill was $40–Don’t know what happened- have eaten here several times and has been good previously.
Good place for breakfast. Had the pancakes with fresh sliced strawberries on top with bacon & eggs. Food was warm & good. Fresh strawberries were red & sweet, unlike the hard sour ones you find in the grocery store. We come here a couple of times a month only for breakfast. Husband was very pleased with his breakfast as well. He loves the hash brown casserole.
My husband and I went to the cracker barrel in Bristol Virginia. We got the new signature fried apple French toast bake. It wasn't made right It should have looked like the picture on the menu but it didn't. The toast part of it was very cold. I get this all the time at other cracker barrel and it's always good and made right. We're very disappointed with it.
My wife wanted some real southern fried chicken. So what better place than Cracker Barrel.
