Breakfast We ate breakfast two mornings and was very good both days. Two separate waitresses and we're both excellent. Food was good as always with the pork chop being a little dry.
Good Choice for Breakfast and Lunch My 10 year-old-daughter and I ate here on a late Sunday morning. She wanted lunch and I wanted breakfast, and we were both accommodated. I had Mom's Pancake Breakfast with 3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and bacon. There was a miscommunication between waitstaff and kitchen, so my eggs came scrambled instead of overeasy, but it was corrected quickly, with no fuss....
Good Food and Service Stopped here on my way to Arizona from San Antonio, Texas. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. Food came out hot. Service was good. Would stop here again, if in the area.
Simple and Delicious Good old style food...love it. Simple yet delicious service was great and good location easy in and out and was right across for Econolodge were we stayed
Great food and beautiful surroundings I've eaten at quite a few Craker Barrels in different states......always great selections. I was visiting friends in Kerrville, I love pinto beans, so I ordered beans which came out in which looks like miniature saucepan and turnips. Good size portions, not to mention the homemade biscuits!! Outside is a very large hill that has homes on top...what a spectacular...
Home cooking Food was ok. Chicken strips were not fresh made but frozen I believe. Cornbread is always good. Rib eye French dip sandwich was good and French dip sauce was excellent. Steak fries were limp and had no salt.
Consistently good These reviews should focus of food quality, service and value. But unfortunately some of our fellow reviewers want to bring their brand of politics onto this site. Please forgive them, they can't help themselves, always trying to force their politics onto others. Cracker Barrel is a good company, we've eaten at them all over the US. You can always count...
