Eggs wasn't fully cooked French toast was bland
I ordered two orders of dumplings, hash brown casserole, pintos, cornbread. I got more gravy than dumplings, they were thin fragments. The pintos were crunchy. Hash brown casserole excellent. Cornbread muffins hard as rocks. Yesterday I had meatloaf, hash brown casserole and dumplings, all excellent. Today was a disappointment compared to Friday.
Part of order incorrect again and what we did receive tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile.
They never put the sauces in your bag. The chicken tenders were old and overcooked.
Missing items and food was all dumped together
I used to love Cracker Barrel, and I just sometimes get a taste for it. The thing is, it has not really been good in a long time, at least not this location. I suspect the chicken and dumplings I received were re-warmed leftovers. The dumplings were broken up into tiny little pieces. The chicken had bits of fat, gristle and skin. Food was cold missing items from both entrée plates missing syrup and bacon was overly cooked and the sausage on one of my entrées was not fully cooked
unfortunately this location still has trouble, I've been going here for years and it's been up and down but mostly down unfortunately. I ordered the steak an egg hashbrown casserole the steak was dry and they didn't put the toppings on either, the biscuit seemed like day old. The to go track record here is they get it right only 4 out of 10 timea and that's just unacceptable
