Bacon not crispy not great pancakes never again
The country steak came dry with no gravy. (I didn't select no gravy or gravy on the side...so why isn't there gravy like on the pics) The meatloaf is usually my fave but it's dry with no ketchup or hose that they usually put on it.
Have always enjoyed this place but tonight was awful. The food was delayed several times and then when it arrives it tasted awful. Both baked potatoes tasted like they had barely been cooked, the requested items on the potatoes were missing, the dumplings were a ball of mush have cooked, the steak wasn't cooked the way we requested, and almost everything was cold. It's almost like they rushed through last minute and half cooked to "get it done". Very disappointed in this. Not worth it.
Sides seem old even though I ordered at lunch. missing items. biscuits are rock hard!
A table spoon of Mac and cheese is what I received. Meat loaf dried out, take all the broth out of pinto beans (oh did I say beans) didn't realize I had any! Worse ever! This is the 2nd time I have ordered dinner items face it guys (Cracker Barrel) you just need to stick with breakfast and that's a hit and miss. I will never use you for dinner again
We received our food 45 mins to an hour after ordering. They did not even go to the front to update the door dasher waiting on it until I called the store myself. And when we received our food, my potatoes were drowned in green bean juice.my dasher was amazing though and waited almost 25-30 minutes for our order!
90% of the time, Cracker Barrel is great. Sadly today our order was in that 10%. I ordered carrots and broccoli to go with my Slow-Braised Pot Roast and got mash and broccoli. I also received excessively bur ed corn muffins that I couldn't and wouldn't even give to the dog. Chicken Fried Chicken was okay, but the green beans were stringyend parts of the bean and inedible. Sorry CB, you were super disappointing.
Chicken tenders were old and cold.. steak tips were salty
