Momma's Pancake Breakfast® was way smaller than I have received in the past and they were burnt and also the bacon was also.
I ordered over an hour before closing. After 45 minutes, I saw that the driver had been waiting at the store for a long while. Over an hour after I placed my order, the driver arrived at my door. She told me they had poured the sweet tea out before they prepared mine (again ordered an hour before close), they had not had baked sweet potatoes all day so instead of calling to offer a substitution they just left if off. Deep fried turkey was extremely dry and tough. Okra tasted like it was burnt or cooked in old grease. Hash brown casserole had very little flavor. The mashed potatoes and pinto beans were the highlight of the meal. Had we been dining in, this is a meal that we certainly would have sent back. We normally love Cracker Barrel but not this time. We'll still order from them though. We understand any restaurant can have a bad night
I have had these items when dining in and the portions for the to go order should be the same and they were certainly not. Barely any hash brown casserole, smaller piece of chicken than when dining in, tiny biscuits, and I really didn't like that the bottle of syrup was placed in a pool of butter and chocolate sauce in the French toast container. The Pancakes had way to many pecans.
Mashed potatoes were so hard you could barley get a fork in them, hashbrown cass was crunchy and not even a spoon full and we did not get the dipping sauce for either chicken tender plates.
Roast beef was dry n burnt on the ends
the ham was dry
I ordered the southern fried chicken for my 12 yr old and when we received the order his was replaced with chicken fried chicken no one attempted to let know about this change. Also his side salad came with no dressing which I did order. I will not be ordering anything else from Cracker Barrell. This is the second order that has been screwed up.
