We came in and got some brunch it was very good but they did not have the machine to cook the southern style crispy chicken with a bone-in so had to get the chicken without the bone in it. Which was fine but I prefer the chicken with the bone in because then I know it's actually chicken and not some processed nuts , butts, and guts
Alright, to all the Grilled Chicken BLT lovers out there, who Cracker Barrel shunned a few years ago by pulling our favorite, and in my case, EVERY visit menu item. As you know, they've replaced our favorite, delicious menu item with the "New" Chicken BLT (which is on a bun, not sourdough bread, and has a glaze spread instead of mayo, and also has a grilled chicken breast, which is not good, instead of the grilled chicken tenderloins). I heard a few months ago that Cracker Barrel got a new CEO and was going to make the experience of visiting a restaurant very exciting, by updating all the stores interior, menu and service. Well the menu was slashed of options. The servings size was definitely of smaller sizes. That use to be our go to restaurant, for breakfast, but no longer! we ended up leaving after our first cup of coffee and went to a competitor after some of the items we normally get were no longer available
Food was good. Server, Cameron was attentive and very friendly. Especially considering the bad weather, we were appreciative that they were open Cashier, Shirley was very helpful and had a couple of great suggestions. I bought a nice hat to go with my vest. Very good experience
This cracker barrel rating was a 98. No wait time we were immediately taken to a table. The server came straight to the table and took our order He was Johnny on the spot. Didn't have to ask for anything and the food was really good and was on the table Just a few minutes after our order was taken. This was absolutely the best cracker barrel in Hartselle, Alabama that I have ever been to. It is 100 times better than the Decatur cracker barrel and I highly recommend you try it.
