I love Cracker Barrel but our chicken was over cooked to the point the crust was actually almost too hard to eat. I was disappointed as Cracker Barrel is one of my very favorite places to eat. Nothing beats country cooking & we need more of it.
They always forget the gravy. I don't know how hard it is to read the order info. You put the onions and put gravy on the potatoes so how do you just forget to put it on the meat?
The chicken noodle soup had a potatoe in it and not one noodle.
Steak was over cooked and dry. No gravy for the casserole. The chicken for the dumplings was so tough. Dry. And no sauce. Suppose to have bbq. We usually really love Cracker Barrel. We will still eat there but prob not get DD again.
I did not receive biscuits or a coke I ordered. Normally I love the vegetables. Everything seemed very bland. No flavor at all. I usually eat here every chance I get.
Ordered new cheesy mini dumplings amongst other things which cost the same as a meal, advertised being over 900 cal but received that the size of a kids meal or adult snack. It also did not have the BBQ sauce as advertised. Also did not receive any biscuits for either and when I checked to confirm they were ordered it was stated explicitly on my receipt. Very disappointed in this experience as a return customer.
The meatloaf was not cooked all the way through. The middle was raw ground beef. The broccoli tasted awful. The chicken was not cooked all the way through either.
The Chicken Noodle Soup Cup came cold like it was fresh from the leftover fridge. I called and asked do they normally send it out cold in case it's something I'm not aware of. They said no. The rest of the food felt like it sat on a shelf for a while before it was brought to us so either the driver did it or my guess was Cracker Barrel didn't update that it was ready or bring it out to the driver because it's cold every time I order from this location.
The potatoes I picked up the whole pile with my plastic fork, gravy and all.... very sad.
